Legian street is the central tourist area at Kuta Bali. This road became the main road to the Kuta Bali beach and Waterbom park, so the tourist will crowds on this road. The length of Legian street is about one kilometer, which stretches from west to east, from the Legian region until T-junction towards Kuta beach.
Entering this street, visitors will find the modern area of Bali. The concept of this street is more oriented to the western world. For a moment, the impression of Bali will be left. On this road, visitors will feel in a western city. Shops, Legian hotels, Bali nightlife and the Bali bombings is identical to the Legian Bali today.
Legian Bali is a shop paradise for shopping lovers. Most of the buildings along this road is used as shops. A variety of shops at this street always pampering the travelers desire. You will see wide range of shops, from traditional art shops, accessories stores, food stores or mini market until boutique clothing with famous brands like Billabong or Rip Curl. Sold merchandise ranging from apparel, watches, handbags, to the unique objects like Balinese souvenirs. Types of clothing that sold also have various kinds, ranging from Bali t-shirts, shirts, jeans, until woven garments. There’s even a store that sells famous surf clothing at Legian street and only one in Bali, this shop namely Surfergirl.
All kinds of stuff here, so if visitors do not have a time to shop at Sukawati market or Tanah Lot Bali, they can buy souvenirs on this street. but the prices of goods on the Legian street is more expensive than elsewhere.
Legian accommodation is also a lot throughout the region. Starting from small legian hotels like Tanaya Hotel, up to stars hotels. Some well-known Legian accommodations that tourists could be used namely Padma Resort, Bali Mandira Beach Resort, Bali Niksoma Hotels, The 101 Legian, and Ramada Resort Camakila. Legian accommodation is very strategic choice, especially for tourists who loves beach because its located very close to the Kuta beach.
Legian Bali is also synonymous with the party and Bali nightlife. A variety of night entertainment venues such as bars, pubs or nightclubs located in this street. Some famous Bali nightlife places namely Bounty Discotheque, Espresso Bar, the E’s Style Cafe & Bar, M-Bargo, Bounty Pub or Sky Garden. Nightlife in this area always attracts peoples and since 2002 the place of bomb explosion in Bali is now used as a Bali bombings monument.
